El animal rojizo

bañándose con aire nuevo,

The red-brown animal
bathing in new air
discovering his strength
moves in the brilliance of rolling fields.
No menace in the beating of his hooves.
No yesterday No tomorrow Only his image and bellow.
Pursued by his great splendor,
only space for his hunger, wild grass and wind.
Death has not yet been invented.
The infinite has not yet escaped.

blazes.
